U Hotels & Resorts is likely to open U Inchantree Kanchanaburi Resort in Thailand on November 1, 2010. The property will be the second U Resort after U Chiang Mai. U Inchantree Kanchanaburi will be a boutique resort located on the north bank of River Kwai. The resort will feature 24 superior rooms and two suites in the two-storeyed building.

According to the company release, the resort will have Peppers, the restaurant and Terrace Lounge. It will also offer U�s unique concept of service including 24-hour room, in room iPod and iDocking station, pre-select amenities such as pillow, tea, music and soap that guests can select from our online U Choose programme and more. Other facilities include a gym, library and free bike to experience the nearby location.
