Bhutan aims to double High Net worth Individual (HNI) visitors from India

Targets 24,000 visitors in 2011 up from 12,000 in 2010

   New Delhi

In line with the Royal Government, who has prioritised tourism as one of the lead sectors in view of its tremendous potential to generate employment and promote socio-economic development.

The tourism council of Bhutan has doubled the target of High Networth Individuals HNI arrivals from India in the year 2011.

Lately, in an exclusive tie-up in March, the Tourism Council of Bhutan, Drukair, and makemytrip.com (MMT) had launched charter flight inclusive holiday packages for Indian travellers to Bhutan.
